Black History month at Cardiff Hubs and Libraries

This month is Black History Month, a time to reflect on Black history and learn from the past, to improve the future. As it is also Libraries Week this week, we asked our colleagues have put together a list of some suggested reading. This is not intended to be a comprehensive or ‘approved' list, this is just a small primer; a gateway into the incredible breadth of writing available both by black & mixed-race writers and on prominent black figures. All books can be ordered from your local Hub or Library, and if you have suggestions for items you'd like to see, staff will be happy to consider adding these to stock.
