Cases per 100,000 population: 223.5 (Wales: 125.9 cases per 100,000 population)

Testing episodes: 5,682

Testing per 100,000 population: 1,548.6

Positive proportion: 14.4% (Wales: 9.5% positive proportion)

 

Update on schools affected by COVID-19: 15thOctober 2020

Willows High School
Two positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Willows High School. 18 pupils from Year 9 and 18 pupils from Year 7 have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case. No staff members need to self-isolate due to social distancing measures in place.

Whitchurch High School
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Whitchurch High School. 21 Year 11 pupils have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case. No staff members are required to self-isolate due to social distancing measures in place.

Radyr High School
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Radyr High School. 32 Year 7 pupils have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case. No staff members are required to self-isolate due to social distancing measures in place.

Cantonian High School
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Cantonian High School. 33 pupils from Year 11 and 1 member of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.
