Cardiff Days of Christmas - Looking back on #WorkingForCardiff

01/12/20

March 2020 seems a very long time ago, and although in many ways looking back on this year is a tough watch, December for many is still a chance to reflect.

Through all the trauma, loss, upheaval and uncertainty brought by the coronavirus pandemic, the best of Cardiff has still managed to shine brightly with residents pulling together to do their best for their families and the city.

We've tried our best to play our part too, with teams from across the council coming together, taking on new roles, #WorkingForCardiff #WorkingForYou in a bid to deal with the effects of COVID-19 on the city.

Since the start of the first lockdown in March, we've shared more than 200 stories from the frontline, capturing just some of the work Cardiff Council has carried out since the pandemic struck.

The response to those stories has been phenomenal, so throughout this month, as we prepare to draw a line under 2020, we thought we'd look back and share some of those stories which saw communities and council teams pull together in the fight against COVID-19.

We hope you enjoy seeing them again, but most of all, this is our way of saying thanks to all of you that joined in and took some time out of your busy lives to send messages of support on the back of these stories.
