Here is the latest update from Cardiff Council, covering vaccination totals for Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan; and Cardiff's COVID-19 case and test numbers.

Cardiff & Vale University Health Board Vaccination Status Update - 16 April

 

The total number of vaccination doses given by the Cardiff & Vale University Health Board so far, in both local authority areas:318,081 

Age Cohorts

 

  • 80 and over: 21,106 -93.8%(1stDose) 11,697 -52%(2ndDose)
  • 75-79:  15,019 -95.1%(1stDose) 3,246 -20.6%(2ndDose)
  • 70-74: 21,368 -94.8%(1stDose)  17,377 -77.1%(2ndDose)
  • 65-69: 21,388 -91.7% (1stDose) 4,214 -18.1%(2ndDose)
  • 60-64:  25,596 -90.8%(1stDose) 9,021 -32%(2ndDose)
  • 55-59: 28,693 -88.3%(1stDose) 5,758 -17.7%(2ndDose)
  • 50-54: 27,881 -84.8% (1stDose) 5,234 -15.9% (2ndDose)

Priority Groups

  • Care home residents: 2,040 -97.6%(1stDose) 1,855 -88.8% (2ndDose)
  • Clinically extremely vulnerable: 11,138 -91.7% (1stDose) 8,646 -71.2%(2ndDose)
  • Underlying Health Conditions: 42,932 -85.4% (1stDose) 3,441 -6.8%(2ndDose)
