Cabinet Member for Culture, Parks and Events, Cllr Jennifer Burke, said: "The Drovers Way play area is an important facility for the local community, so it's good news that it's ready for the Christmas holidays after these improvements."

"Having access to a good quality play area, close to home, can make a really big difference for families. That's why we're continuing to invest in play areas across the city, creating safe, accessible and fun-filled spaces for children to enjoy."
